My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...

I’m only new to running this year. Started out with parkrun on weekends and now running a couple days a week training for my first City2Surf. Pushing myself to do 10km a day for 10 days will be something new for me and it pushes me out of my comfort zone, just like Nedd’s journey inspires us all to do. I'm stepping up to this challenge to not only grow personally but also to raise awareness and support for We Are Mobilise, helping people in Australia experiencing homelessness.

Saturday 27th Sep
Today I took part in a 10km run in Moree, NSW. It was a good run and very warm. Finished in under an hour at 57m 45s. Needless to say I was knackered by the end.
In just under a month I will be doing this every day for 10 days. My challenge, which I’m starting a bit later than most (on the 24th), will be 10km a day for 10 days. What will make this harder is I will be starting this a day after I get back from the USA. This will be a struggle but willing to do this to show that it will be uncomfortable but still not as uncomfortable as those that are experiencing homelessness.
So please, donate what you can and let’s make a difference to people’s lives.

Delayed Challenge

Little update on my challenge. Due to a work trip to the US, I can't start my challenge on October 20th.

But never mind, I'm still dedicated in be doing my 10km a day for 10 days challenge, I'll just be starting on Friday 24th October (the day after I get back into Oz).
