WHAT IS NEDD'S UNCOMFORTABLE CHALLENGE?
AKA 'NUC'
NUC is a national initiative from 2026 Young Australian of the Year, Nedd Brockmann, built on one idea he lives by: get uncomfortable and do it for good. Participants take on something uncomfortable, push through it, and raise money for Australians experiencing homelessness, walking away knowing they're capable of more than they thought. Tens of thousands have taken it on, supporting each other as a community.
Now in its third year, the challenge runs 19 to 28 October 2026. Pick something uncomfortable and do it every day for 10 days, or do it your own way, with family and friends backing you and raising money along the way.

WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES?
THERE'S ONE RULE THAT MATTERS:
IT HAS TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE FOR YOU
Do the 1-2-2 or do your own thing. As long as it pushes you somewhere you wouldn't normally go, so that the people around you celebrate your hard work and you surprise yourself with your success at the end of the Uncomfortable Challenge.
