My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
It pushes me out of my comfort zone, just like Nedd’s journey inspires us all to do. I'm stepping up to this challenge to not only grow personally but also to raise awareness and support for We Are Mobilise, helping people in Australia experiencing homelessness.
On any given night in Australia, nearly 1 in 200 people are experiencing homelessness. And 1 in 7 of these people are children under the age of 12.Â
I am so privileged to have the opportunity to do this challenge. I chose cycling because when I push myself beyond my limit, it gets me out of my comfort zone. Then, when I have completed a challenging ride, it makes me feel really proud of myself.
