My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
I’m choosing discomfort for people who don’t have a choice.
In October, I’ll run 10 half marathons in 10 days for Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge, raising funds for Mobilise and supporting people experiencing homelessness.
Through my work, I see how complex homelessness can be and how easily people can fall through the cracks. I believe everyone deserves a safe place to rest their head.
I know 10 days of running 21km will be uncomfortable, but I get to choose when that discomfort starts and stops. For someone experiencing homelessness, that choice isn’t always there.
I support Mobilise because I genuinely believe we can end homelessness if we come together to solve it.
