My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
No phone.
No headphones.
No distractions.
Just me, sitting in a public place, being present and seeing what happens.
I’m used to moving. I’m used to filling the space. I’m used to having something to do.
Sitting still for 122 minutes, in public, with nothing to hide behind? That’s going to be uncomfortable.
And that’s exactly why I’m doing it.
The 122 minutes represents the more than 122,000 Australians experiencing homelessness.
If sitting still for 122 minutes can start even one conversation, make someone stop and think, or get someone to learn a little more about homelessness in Australia, then it’s 122 minutes well spent.
