Running for Change, Not Comfort
I’ve always found value in testing my limits, mentally, physically, and emotionally. People like Nedd remind me that we’re all capable of more, and that growth comes from doing the hard things, especially when we don’t feel ready.
The truth is, I often struggle. But my struggles, while valid, pale in comparison to what many go through just to make it through the day. That realisation is what led me to this challenge, to remind myself of what I’m capable of, and to stand with those who don’t get to choose their battles.
I’m proud to be running in support of We Are Mobilise, an organisation helping Australians facing homelessness. If I can use this effort to raise awareness and funds, even in a small way then every step is worth it.
