My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
It pushes me out of my comfort zone, just like Nedd’s journey inspires us all to do. I'm stepping up to this challenge to not only grow personally but also to raise awareness and support for We Are Mobilise, helping people in Australia experiencing homelessness.
People who are experiencing homelessness have no choice sometimes but to wake up early as often the sun is up early. I have the luxury of having a choice when I get up, however they do not. I find it incredibly challenging to wake up before 7am so I am pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I have been struggling with my mental health recently which has made it challenging to get out of bed so I’m also doing this challenge because I owe it to myself to get better !
