My Challenge is to...

Run 15km each day

for Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge

My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...

It pushes me out of my comfort zone, just like Nedd’s journey inspires us all to do. I'm stepping up to this challenge to not only grow personally but also to raise awareness and support for We Are Mobilise, helping people in Australia experiencing homelessness.

DAY TEN BABY 🚀💪

Wednesday 29th Oct
DAY TEN COMPLETED LESSGOO It’s safe to say the pavement has been absolutely POUNDED!!! I can’t thank everyone who has donated enough every dollar has helped someone in need. At the rate Nedd and the team at We Are Mobilise are going they are going to reach the target goal of 10 million dollars in ten years! But only because of people just like you who have donated. Back on to the run side of things the challenge has taught me many things, Like how much further you can go even after you start to feel pain in your legs or after you get puffed out all you have to do is put one leg in front of another and keep charging!! Now for the mental side of things, This run has taught me many things with my mind the biggest thing its taught me is that your never done when you feel done like i was saying about the soreness in the legs when your mentally “finished” your really not you just need to change the mindset or try visualise something amazing like for a example i would mentally play cricket in my mind to distract my self from the run it self. It has also taught me that MY MIND IS STRONGER THAN MY BODY! The amount of times i have heard this and kinda just went on with my day without thinking about it was a lot you hear people from nedd brockmann to even my dad say it and the reason they say it is because its true your mind is most definitely stronger than your body, the amount of times where i wanted to quit because it hurt was a fair few, if you can train your mind you can change your life. Overall i was mentally and physically exhausted after day 6 cricket really crushed my mind i could find myself in the positive mindset but all i had to was to change the focus to something i can change like how fast in going to run the 15 kays that’s how i ran my PB. But never the less after all this yap Nedds uncomfortable challenge is over until next year its been a great journey KEEP CHARGING AND FIRE UP BABY!!!!💪💪🚀🚀

DAY 9 💪🚀

Tuesday 28th Oct
LESSSGOOO BABY DAY 9 DONE only 1 more run to go then it’s all done can’t be more pumped up TO THE MOON 🚀💪

DAY 8 🚀🚀💪💪

Monday 27th Oct
DAY 8
TO THE MOON BABY!🚀
Today was a pretty solid run felt a bit stiff going into it but slowly got up to pace. Felt pretty good ran maybe 7 km around a 400m track what was pretty mentally draining when your already low on motivation but never the less all you have got to do is just keep charging on
LESSGOOO!!🚀💪

DAY 7🚀🚀💪💪

Sunday 26th Oct
PB BABY🚀🚀🚀🚀 Today was a rough one started of the day with cricket had an absolute shocker my worst rep game ever. So the motivation was very low going into this run. I struggled to get my self ready without complaining on what’s ahead of me but sure enough I talked myself to get up and work. Started of as a regular run to try get the negative thoughts out from earlier today. But soon turned into a PB attempt as the run went on I still had that horrid negative mindset from earlier today but then all of a sudden I was beginning to get swooped by magpies this might of been the only time I was thankful of these swooping Maggies because it took my mind of the past and took my mind to the present for some reason these magpies fired me up. All the yelling I did to counter out the pain and distractions caused me to run faster because I was bloody fired up I don’t think I slowed down at all in the last 7.5 kays. Day 7 done and dusted TO THE MOON 🚀🚀🚀🚀💪💪💪💪

DAY 6

Sunday 26th Oct
DAY 6 BABY
nice way to finish a whole day if cricket
Nice and easy pace because not wanting to destroy myself before rep cricket tomorrow
But never the less KEEP CHARGING BABY 💪💪🚀🚀

DAY 5

Friday 24th Oct
DAY 5 Lessssgoooo!! Took a while to get going but after warming in to the run felt as good as ever Quite good to see a different view while running because Capel was getting a bit boring Never the less FIRE UP BABY!!! LESSGOO!!

DAY 4

Thursday 23rd Oct
today was probably the hardest day yet legs had a bit of fatigue but mainly I was mentally tired but after remembering that this challenge is to support homelessness and push yourself to the limit I decided to make this run my PB attempt and it succeeded I was a bit tired on the first 3 Kays but it makes sense as I have woke up at 4:40 am for the last 4 days but never the less i ended up beating my personal best by almost 10 minutes

DAY 3

Wednesday 22nd Oct
DAY 3 DONE AND DUSTED Felt pretty good for most of the run came across a few little injuries what where easily over come! Also could not thank nedd more for donating to my page he’s a absolute legend Couldn’t be more excited for the next week of the challenge 💪🚀

DAY 2

Tuesday 21st Oct
Day 2 done and dusted got to meet my idol NEDD BROCKMANN today I have never been so happy this man has changed my life in so many ways I can not thank nedd enough for what he does he goes out of his way to do such good things for the community. But never the less the runs today felt great and it’s also a day I will never forget 💪💪

Day 1

Monday 20th Oct
first one done nine to go!! Felt pretty good for the first 4 km then started to have a few little niggles but soon enough at around the 7km mark they all went away. The last 5 or so km i really started to dig in and clock in a few quicker kms but just enough that it wouldn’t make me that sore after. Overall a ripper start can’t wait to meet the man Nedd Brockmann himself tomorrow
