My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
Simply put, I hate running. This challenge will push me out of my comfort zone, just like Nedd’s journey inspires us all to do. I'm stepping up to this challenge to not only grow personally but also to raise awareness and support for We Are Mobilise, helping people in Australia experiencing homelessness. Homelessness isn't about people making bad decisions, it's about poverty, unemployment, lack of affordable housing, domestic and family violence, family and relationships breakdown and poor mental health. This issue is bigger than all of us and those that can help like myself, owe it to those that are struggling.
