My Challenge is to...

Dip into the bay with the Mentone Icebergs (or in late afternoon when work prevents me from sunrise)

for Nedd’s Uncomfortable Challenge

My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...

I truly hate being cold, and getting up for 10 days in order to be freezing is very uncomfortable. However, not nearly as uncomfortable as the people who don't have a roof to sleep under in the winter (and in the case of Melbourne, also the summer).

Day 10 - Challenge Complete!

Day 9 - after work

Wednesday 29th Oct
Had very early work so at the latter end of the day. This was the least uncomfortable water-wise, but so windy for the preceding run.

Day 8 - the worst discomfort

So windy. Waves where normally there aren't. And thus very cold.

Day 7. Again unpleasant

But starting to actually not feel as cold going in the water. How quickly one starts to get used to this.

Not as bad as I expected cold-wise. The early start after a late arrival was more uncomfortable here.

Day 4 - Cronulla

Again, in Sydney, and at sunrise it was REALLY cold. More than Melbourne almost. At least it felt that way.

Went to Sydney for work. It was still cold.
