Five hours of IELTS study a day, for ten days, on top of a full-time accounting job. No rest days.
It's uncomfortable because it's not physical — it's the slow kind. It's a 5am alarm, a desk, and a language that still isn't fully mine. It's doing the thing I'm least confident at, over and over, when nobody would notice if I quit.
But here's what keeps me honest about it: I get to choose my uncomfortable, and I get to stop on October 28th. The 122,000 Australians without a safe place to sleep tonight don't get either of those things. That's the whole reason I'm doing this.
