My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
Last year, I took on Nedd's Uncomfortable Challenge by completing 10 minutes of planking each day for 10 days. It pushed me physically and mentally whilst also giving me a greater appreciation for the struggles faced by people experiencing homelessness.
122 000 Australians experience homelessness every night. So for my challenge this year I am going to walk 122km in 10 days.
As a teacher, it is so impactful when our students see us willing to do things we ask of them - to step outside of their comfort zones, give something new a go, embrace challenges and do something that makes a difference.
If being uncomfortable can help a fellow Aussie's day a tad better...count me in!
