My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
The last time I attempted an official marathon, I ended up in hospital at the 39km mark due to heatstroke. Now I'm attempting to run 50km with unwanted flashbacks to school PE beep tests, making this challenge pretty uncomfortable!
My workplace Bursty, is heading to the paddock in the middle of nowhere in Australia for the Backyard Beep Test on Thursday 15th October. 1000 minutes. 20 metres. Back and forth on the beep, from 6am until 10:40pm, until the beep stops.
Every lap we run is for the 122,000 Australians who don't have a safe place to sleep tonight for We Are Mobilise and every dollar helps get people experiencing homelessness the support they need.
