My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
Three years ago I was over 40kg heavier and never imagined I’d willingly choose discomfort. Back then I avoided hard things because I didn’t believe I was capable of them. Since then I’ve rebuilt my life through endurance, proving to myself that growth only happens when you lean into the uncomfortable.
I’ve completed a 1,000-floor Stairmaster challenge wearing a 20kg vest, raised over $2,000 for Beyond Blue, recently completed my first HYROX Solo in Sydney, and I’m currently taking on my Breaking Point challenge, climbing Terrigal Skillion with my 20kg vest day after day while working full-time. Every challenge has taught me that we’re capable of far more than we think when we refuse to quit.
I’m taking on this challenge because I want to keep pushing my own limits, inspire others who doubt themselves like I once did, and help raise funds to provide housing and support for Australians experiencing homelessness. I don’t come from a background with sponsors or a support crew. Everything I’ve achieved so far has been built from the ground up. That’s exactly why this opportunity means so much to me.
