My challenge is uncomfortable for me because...
I want to know what I'm capable of, and you only ever find that out when things get hard. As an optometrist, I spend my days helping people protect one of the things they value most - their sight. But protecting the things that matter isn't just a clinical act. Sometimes it means showing up for people who need it most, in ways that have nothing to do with an eye test.
We've all got more in us than we think, and I'm about to get uncomfortable to prove it to myself. And it means something: every dollar I raise goes to We Are Mobilise, helping people experiencing homelessness across Australia get back on their feet.
