O'Connell Public School
O'Connell Public School (O'CPS) is stoked to be taking part in Nedd's Uncomfortable Challenge as we work towards our goal - the 2026 final Edgell Jog on Sunday 20th September 2026. To bring the Small Schools Shield home one last time, we've enlisted the support of Nedd, the 2026 Young Aussie of the Year, inspiring us in the movement to fight homelessness and support Australia's most vulnerable people.
Nedd's Uncomfortable Challenge is not just about fundraising - it's an opportunity for our students to build resilience, develop perseverance, and learn valuable life skills. By stepping out of their comfort zones , and having our staff join them every step of the way, our students gain confidence and empathy, and see first-hand the impact they can make in their community. The challenge encourages teamwork, a positive mindset, and a sense of achievement that comes from contributing to a cause bigger than themselves.
We're excited to get UNCOMFORTABLE, grow as individuals, and make an impact.
